Achievement
Charter schools are held to account for their students’ achievement.
Performance thresholds are set based on a school’s Equity Index (EQI). This is to reflect the performance of equivalent state schools.
We know that achievement rates are higher for schools where the students face fewer socioeconomic barriers.
